The Secret Plot to Save the Tsar by Shay McNeal

I would like this book more if it didn't suggest four or five books to read in order to completely understand WTF is going on. Still. I now have six more books on my Amazon wishlist for Christmas!

Aside from the Twelve Wild Swans, I'm reading Ravensong: A Novel by Lee Maracle (for class).

Just finished "Black Heart Loa" by Adrian Phoenix. Not as great as I thought it was going to be, but... at least it's different from a lot of urban fantasy I read. I hope the third one is better.

I seem to be reading a lot of urban fantasy. Just finished Anansi Boys and American Gods by Neil Gaiman, working on Widdershins by Charles De Lint

Because someone had to restart this thread after the move.  What are you reading, how is it, and would you recommend it?

I am reading Mastering Witchcraft by Paul Huson. So far I find it very interesting, I'm still in the learning phase of Witchcraft, so hopefully this will aid me on my journey.

I just started Inheritance by Christopher Paolini. (Book 4 of the cycle.) For some reason, I'm finding it a little difficult to get into; possibly because it's been a while since I read the previous ones.

Just re-read the Sandman series, and then I just got my hands on Terry Pratchett's latest, Snuff (happynekkiddance), and am trying to finish up KSR's Sixty Days and Counting.

I just finished reading The Celestine Prophecy.  I thought it had some very good ideas, but that the dialogue was terrible and the characters completely undeveloped.  But that's because they are all mouthpieces for the author.  It's really a spiritual self-help book masquerading as an adventure.  In spite of its downfalls, I'd suggest it, because the author has some very good ideas in there.  I've actually found the book to make me mindful and aware of things that I hadn't paid attention to before.  It's a book that gives you a new perspective on things you thought you knew all about.

Now that I have finished that, I am going back to Sacred Sounds by Ted Andrews.  I started reading it some time ago, but life got in the way.
