There's a what are you listening to right now thread, I thought it would be cool to have one about what we are watching!

I am usually late in watching most shows, and I have just decided to watch Gotham.  Just finished the first episode and I am already hooked.

"Suicide for Glory", the 25th and penultimate episode of the Victory at Sea television documentary. I've been watching the complete series. I've considered myself a history and WWII buff since intermediate school days, but I've learned things I never knew before. Really worthwhile watching. "Lest we forget...."

Independence Day because it's on Bravo and I'm just watching anything right now to keep my mind off my neuralgia.

Independence Day

I just started watching a series called Hard Sun and it's shaping up to be pretty good - really well made, I think, and an interesting story, so far.  Anyone else seen it?

I've been trying out Grimm and Supernatural lately and got hooked on Grimm when the story picked up speed at the end of season 1.

I've also recently seen the old comic series The Real Ghostbusters which I watched when I was a kid - that was really fun, I've been laughing so hard and it also has some intelligent scifi/fantasy storylines (although some stuff is a bit childlike, it's PG12 after all).

Stranger Things
was also fun, can't wait for season 3.

I just finished watching Christopher Nolan's Inception. I had seen it before, some time back, but in light of recent personal developments...enough to Freak You Out!

(Of course, I don't freak easily. Or, maybe, I'm already so freaky that it's hard to twist the dial any more...)

About an hour plus a bit into Atlas Shrugged: Part I. I'm liking it; it's significantly better than I was led to believe from its reviews. Of course, being a hard-core rail fan doesn't hurt a bit!

The essentials of Rand's story line are there, but thankfully much of her turgid prose has been whittled away. While it's still the kind of story that libertarians and anti-big-government conservatives will love, it watches like a story and not a political screed. Thumbs up.

I'm currently binge-watching a Norwegian fellow called "Gopher" play Skyrim on YouTube. I'm a rather avid gamer and nerd, and I'm find watching "Let's Play" videos quite enjoyable.

Endowed with that faith, a votary performs the worship of that particular deity and obtains the fruits thereof, these being granted by Me alone." - Sri Krishna
