(And there's this one during the Frost Faire games when we all got to the end of the night and went "Wait. We were rooting for Lucius and Barty and Dominic? And they're being the reasonable and sensible ones? When did that happen?")

To be fair, I seem to recall that Barty did take a bit of chivvying to come around to the side of the, erm, angels.

Yes. (And the threat of Bella.) But he did, eventually. Which. Fascinating.

I'm worried about everybody. Oh and you know what you said in the OP, yeah, I hate the fact that I do, but I really like Raz and Tosha. Bloody love them in fact.

Right there with you.

I've been going slowly - finishing up year four, so I've only just been introduced to Tosheka and I had a full blown crush going within the first couple of posts (but then that was inevitable, I have a thing for magnificent bastard type villains). Suppose I needed something to replace my year one/two crush who went missing again.

I also adore Raz with Siz.  And Rod is such a good dad... for the most part.

Every now and then I snap out of it, remember canon, a have a serious "WTF are you thinking?!" moment...

Waaait...  Eyes icon... Is that Siddiq el Fadil?  It is, isn't it?!

I've begun crushing on a character who shares a face with Dr. Julian Bashir?

That's just... disturbing.

(And it says a lot about me that THAT disturbs me more than the fact that said character is Antonin-freakin-Dolohov.  I think I need a shower.)

Erm, yeah.  Well done players!  (Love all the non-movie icon choices, btw.  It's a little thing, but one cal tell a lot of thought went into these and it's appreciated.  I mean, who couldn't love Alice when she looks like Felicia Day?)

(And dear Gods above and below, Sid's aged well.)

Eehee.  That broke my brain when I tracked him down too.

*raises hand*  Ooo!  Ooo!  Me please!

So, I've finally caught up - finished the pdfs, and have some idea what's been going in the gap between July and now.  (Though I'm sure I missed a lot.  I was trying to avoid spoilers.)  Now I have to learn to develop patience...

We also have fan discussion communities at http://alt-fen.livejournal.com and http://alt-fen.dreamwidth.org (the latter is tending to be more active these days), where people would love to join in dissecting fragments of text and underlying implications.

Figured I should stick a note in here.

As of yesterday, Alternity has come to an end. There is a lot more discussion on the alt-fen Dreamwidth community ongoing, and with some more to come. (Including some ask-me-anythings in character and out, and some additional background content and such.)

You should be able to comment there with a Dreamwidth account, an OpenID account, or anonymously (though if you do the last, stick a name or something in, so we can figure out who's who if there's more than one anon.)

I should give major kudos here to Darkhawk, who was the Kemetic consultant for Antonin Dolohov, something that paid off no end in Y7.
