I know right? Logical fallacy and revisionist history doesn't even BEGIN to cover it. And this asshat is supposed to be a lawyer! He doesn't even connect his points well or even use his faux history to support his points properly. And he talks about American children being unable to debate, analyze or study with any precision. I guess he's a prime example huh?

Man, if I'd wanted to kill braincells, I'd rather have drowned them in alcohol than read this tripe!!!!  At least that would have been somewhat enjoyable!

And the name of the "paper" is strange, too.  "Canada-Free"... yet they're American (?).

I've always wanted a kingdom! :D:

I like how the author takes very self-evident ideas like "polytheism means that you don't accept the rule of only one god over everyone" and makes them sound like they're some kind of ~*~shocking~*~ philosophic truth.

yet somehow he makes that both bad and correct because his next statement is saying that the opposite is a bad thing? Like I don't think he even knows what he's saying.

I got to where they started going through the "doctrines" and had to close it before I sent a scathing letter using not-nice words

I looked at the bio and earlier articles this yahoo published - he also wrote one on how America is becoming Marxist

I bet I know more about Marxist ideology than he does, and I don't know a lot, so yeah.

I just skimmed it.
I really should read it and post about it on my blog.

No, it doesn't. However, that's no reason to call the author an "asshat".

I read the headline and said, "nope. Nooooope. I don't feel like being pissed off before the weekend starts." Lol.

Okay, so I read a little. Then imploded.

The great thing about this kind of article is that it is a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Why do people turn away from Christianity? Is it because they reject Christ’s message of love and forgiveness? No.

My guess it is because they associate Christianity (however unfairly) with the ignorance and intolerance of people like Mr. O’Connell.

So by writing such articles, he is actively contributing to the very phenomena he is bemoaning.

Congratulations sir. If you want to know why America is “Becoming a Pagan Kingdom”-

look in the mirror.
My views are one that speaks to freedom.
-George W. Bush
