And even later this cycle - being unusually busy in meatlife while still simultaneously keeping up with reading TC burns more spoons than being away and not reading at all but having a non-busy time to do my catching-up in. But at least it's up before the cycle starts!

This cycle, two former Cill members have returned to serving with us, so we have a full roster again. Morag is on the once-vacant second shift, and Siannan will be sharing the seventh shift with Karen. Welcome back, Morag and Siannan!

Thank you to Rocquelaire, Breeze, Sage, Garnet, and Aster for making sure the vacant shift(s) was/were covered for the past several cycles.

This cycle also includes the southward equinox (autumnal in the northern hemisphere, vernal in the southern), on 23 Sep at 0820 UT/0220 MDT/2020 NZST, so Group Keeping will be your local sunset 22 Sep to sunset 23 Sep. (Unless you are Emerald, in which case 23 Sep to 24 Sep would both include the actual time of the equinox [since 2020 hrs will be after sunset], and ensure that you spend the least time 'group' keeping by yourself:).)

This cycle includes our NINTH(!!!:eek:) anniversary - the very first shift ever for the Cauldron Cill began at sunset on 3 Jan '07. There will be an anniversary thread as usual, which will go up shortly before then (post celebratory/congrats stuff there, once it's up, not here), and that's also when our annual check-in will begin (there'll be a thread for that in our private board). There will also be Group Keeping for our anniversary, from sunset 3 Jan to sunset 4 Jan your local time; as always with Group Keeping, you can participate for as much or as little of it as you want/are able - this is a tradition from our early years that had fallen by the wayside, but that starting two years ago we were trying to revive.
