I'm not familiar with Andvari, so I cannot help much. However, an shrine/altar to a specific deity should generally reflect the interests and/or myths surrounding that deity.

May this would help you?  Here is a book about honoring Andvari:   http://www.asphodelpress.com/book.html?title=andvari-root-stone-and-bone
I am the Goddess of Who I can Become. I mix the magic of the sorceress with the blade of a warrior. I walk the liminal pathways to see the face of the Goddess, both terrible and kind. As She stares back at me, I tremble in awe and ecstasy.  --SatAset

Just quoting myself here:

Quote

From a recons POW:
Two central parts of a sacrifice seem to have been; 1) Idols of the god(s), 2) an offering.
You can decorate and build your alter as you like, or you can flab through the sagas for inspiration, however, what is important is the physical presence of the gods (the idols) and that you receive heil in exchange for your sacrifice. All the nuances and finer details are up to your UPG.

In my kindred we have 1.5 meter tall idols of Thor, Frey and Odin and when we sacrifice we place a bowl of food and a cup of beer in front of each god, and toast to their honour and a prosperous future.

Now since the lore tells us little about the dwarf Andvari you´ll probably have to rely a good deal on your UPG here, but we do know this:

He was caught in a net by Loki, had to pay gold to get free, and he placed a curse on a treasured ring.
So gold, ring and net might be some things to include in your cermonies or altar decorations...

You could also go with some of the other stuff we know about the dwarfs; such as their skills in smithing and other crafts, their shortness and so on.

Good luck.
