Brad Meltzer's "Decoded"

Anyone else watch this show? I kinda like it, even though I think some of the people they speak to as subject matter experts on the show are kind of whacked.

I kind of sort of like it. On the one hand, I'm like, "What a stuffed shirt!" And on the other hand, I'm like, "HOLY CRAP I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!!!!!11111!!!one"

I did before I gave up on TV completely.  The only episode I really liked was the one on D.B. Cooper.  Then again, that isn't one that explores a batshit theory.

I watch it from time to time and I have found it pretty interesting.

I had it on once during one of the History channel mini-marathon's they have on certain afternoons.

It made me lose all respect (which admittedly wasn't much) for the History channel. But, it also made the South Park parody of the HC so, so much funnier.

well. I'm watching the first episode and gee, he has it in for the Masons.  I'm almost ready to turn if off, it looks like the Protocols of Zion done for Masons.

I like the show, it is right in line his work as a writer, which is more historically accurate then say Dan Brown's writing.  Though I do agree the History channel has become more like SYFY then actual history.  I still dig it.  I hate to admit it but Ancient Aliens is totally a guilty pleasure.  That guys hair is ridiculous.:D:

And that is exactly the feeling I got from the first three episodes.  Debunked thoroughly, and yet, still the Masons are a secret society so yes, there is still some possibility that the Masons are ebil and want to take over everything.

Oh come on.  You gotta love the batshit theories.  They give the show that certain flair, y'know?  Although, i gotta admit, it's pretty bad when a show like Fringe is more sound than a so-called "real-life" program.....
