Just wanted to post here to see if anyone else had thoughts on this.

I have never been afraid of fire, and actually quite enjoyed it.  I love the warmth, the sound and how beautiful flames can be.

However, recently I have had severe anxiety surrounding fire.  I've had night terrors and sleep paralysis from dreams involving fire.  The sight/feel of fire now causes severe anxiety attacks and I am always tense around it now.  To my knowledge, there is no reason for this.  Rationally speaking, I still love everything about it, but subconsciously, I am terrified.

Is there a reason this would be happening all of the sudden?  Should I be reading into this at all, or am I simply overreacting?  Any thoughts on this would be great.  Thank you!
