Hi, I'm interested in learning

First, please forgive any typos, I chronically use my phone, and the autocorrect has been known to be overly aggressive as a result of my tendency to get letters out of order.

Now that that is out of the way, hi! I'm an atheist who does not believe in magic. At all. I may end up not belonging here, and that's O.K.

I do enjoy ritual and herb-lore, and that's what I hope I might be able to learn here.

While I don't personally believe it will have a magical effect, there is some science to herb-lore, like lavender being soothing, that fascinates me.

I have an undergrad degree in chemistry, which might have something to to with that.

It's a pleasure to meet you.

Welcome from another "fish out of water"...but one who generally has been welcomed to this pond.

Welcome to the cauldron! We welcome all kinds here, and there are a few atheists on the forum, I believe. There is also a psycho-spiritual movement within paganism as of late that focuses on the psychological aspect of ritual/practices rather than basing them on deity. I hope you find what you're looking for, and good luck. :)
