It's that day again. The night I lose an hour of sleep.

In most of the US, it's time to set your clocks forward. Daylight Savings Time starts at 2am tomorrow morning (which suddenly becomes 3am). You'll probably want to set your clocks forward an hour before you go to bed.

I believe Canada changes to DST overnight as well.

Heh, I never knew this - you learn something new every three weeks, on average (that's what I find, anyway).

Here in the UK this takes place at the end of the month.  One good thing about this is that I find it easier to remember than I would a date mid-month!

In the fall our clocks also go back at the end of October, too.  (Although we generally refer to it as the autumn season, the saying 'Spring forward, fall backwards' really helps to remember which way around this takes place).

That is closer to what it used to be in the US. They added 2-3 weeks to DST a few years back.
