I would love some inspiration & ideas. So if anyone would love to share pics or descriptions of their altars it would be lovely.

I don't have an altar right now since I just moved into my first house and haven't found a good space for it yet.

But here is some paganish home decor that I used to make my house into my own little sacred space (I apologize if the photos are gigantic):

My Brighid statue and my crow for the Morrigan on top of my bookshelf

My triple goddess statue and my boyfriend's Siddhartha

Close up of the triple goddess. I put a candle in there often

My knot

My pothead looking incense warmer :D: He reminded me of the Green Man so I had to have him

That's one of the best things I've seen in quite a while.

I do not have a picture but my house/home shrine is a deep small niche window in the hall in it I always have a mugwort/sage/lavender smudge stick, made a new fresh one today so it is drying there in a corner. Next to it is a small glass bowl of house blessing salt which contains 2 tbsp seasalt with dried roses yarrow lavender & rosemary. The key to the mailbox on a red ribbon. A small dark green prosperity glass bowl in the shape of a crown with in it money in coins and a piece of pyrite sitting on top of the money.
From the windowlock hangs a freshly made rowan berries string on red thread they are drying and also a thin cord with 3 gold bells. The window is mostly open in the hall.
Sometimes I burn a tealight there in a candleholder in a color matching a specific need/want/wish and some incense according to what the house might need/want/wish
could be anything house/home related like a quiet home, tranquility etc.:)

I wasn't exactly sure where to post this, but this forum looked like a good catch all for everyone. Please forgive me if I was wrong.

I am in the middle of moving. Everything I own is packed up and will be being unpacked in my new place over the next week or two. My new apartment is much larger then my current one & so I am hoping to make some extra room for my altar & redesign it as more then a small shelf lol.

I would love some inspiration & ideas. So if anyone would love to share pics or descriptions of their altars it would be lovely. I always find it just amazing the beauty & creativity that go into some altars & shrines.

This was my altar from forever ago:

& this was my latest:

As you can see totally empty & simple lol. I can't wait to have more space lol

Here's my latest altar setup.  It's pretty basic, but it suits me.

That was my samhain 'altar': it's a piece of paper that I drew on and painted.

Fantastic example of creating an altar with limited resources! :)

I dont have it made yet, but I think a living altar would be ~amazing~.  A small fish bowl with a small fish,  a bonzi tree, a candle, and a small wind chime.  Of course, any tools or trinkets as desired.

I've tried to keep plants alive but nothing really lasted more than a couple weeks. But now I have a bamboo plant that's going nuts. I knew bamboo grew quickly but holy crap.

Here is mine. It is an Asatru altar dedicated to Thor.

On the wall, left to right, Odin, Thor, Frigga, below them is Heimdall, the Viking prayer "Lo there do I see my father... ", my parents (another one way off to the right), on the table itself are Tyr, Freyr, Thor (replica of the Eyrarland statue), Freyja, Baldr; incense holder, offering bowl, candle, drinking cup (I want a real horn), the hammer. The little roses were from my garden. I have other small bowls and a tray for other offerings, but usually it's just a liquid offering. At first I thought the tabletop was a little too big, but it gives room if I put some other offerings or items for worship.
