I wasn't exactly sure where to post this, but this forum looked like a good catch all for everyone. Please forgive me if I was wrong.

I am in the middle of moving. Everything I own is packed up and will be being unpacked in my new place over the next week or two. My new apartment is much larger then my current one & so I am hoping to make some extra room for my altar & redesign it as more then a small shelf lol.

I would love some inspiration & ideas. So if anyone would love to share pics or descriptions of their altars it would be lovely. I always find it just amazing the beauty & creativity that go into some altars & shrines.

This was my altar from forever ago:

& this was my latest:

As you can see totally empty & simple lol. I can't wait to have more space lol

Here's mine! I heart it so much. As soon as it is lit I feel like I used to feel on christmas mornings as a kid. Excitement, wonder, peace and love abound! I add and take away all of the time, with the seasons as it were. Whatever beautiful thing I find foraging in the woods, if it gives me the warm fuzzies, it ends up on the altar.

I love it! Thanks for sharing. Just the photo made me feel a sense of peace...and I am NOT kidding.

Now that Halloween has passed, I've packed up all the spooky decorations and put them away. This also means it was time to rearrange some things.

The setup on the mantle when not actively in use. This is my working altar area.

This is on a low bookshelf close to my bed.  It's something new I'm trying this winter - inside the box I'm keeping things that make me feel loved. Trying to keep a bit of warmth through the cold months, as I have a tendency to get a bit cynical and bored.

More pictures here.

Here is mine, I have a few large candles which would usually go around the back and outside but they are being used in another room;

Thanks, WW2, it saw service & was handed down through family. They are only single edged though.

I just re-did my altar & shrine for autumn, and I took some pictures for a friend, so here they are!

My shrine for Brighid (the cloth is a deep brown-red, hard to tell here, and the biggest candle is tan, not the weird purple colour it looks here)

I love this one - part of what inspired me to order a bunch of tealight candles along with the other stuff I bought recently!

Here is my altar from tonight.

Wow, I love your altar. It gives me a strong sense of power.

This is my trickster shrine, dedicated to El Ahrairah, The Pied Piper, The Doctor, (Pop culture paganism, yay!) and I'm going to make a small wire work spider for Anansi also.

its not a particularly clear picture but it also contains miniature dice, dominoes, and card pack. Its a repurposed Jewellery box
