Sacredity of human body in bible

What scriptures indicate the sacredity of the human body?  Or, to put it bluntly, are anti-torture?

Hi there -

You've started several threads like this, but have then not participated at all in the discussion about the topics you started.

You also want answers specifically relating to unspecified Christian scriptures (as I'm sure you are aware, there are a number of variations for those religions that rely on the various books of the Bible.) This seems a little odd as a thing to do repeatedly on a Pagan-focused forum.

Would you be willing to explain a bit more about what your goals are with these questions, perhaps post an introduction in the introductions folder so people can understand your perspective and background, and engage a bit in the topics you've started? These things aren't required, but would likely lead to much better discussion than your current approach.

While I'm not as familiar with the Bible as some, I'm going to go with "everything Jesus ever said, ever". If you want more specific, I'm fairly sure Jesus instructs people to comfort prisoners, as well as feeding the hungry and clothing the naked.

Like Jenett said, most of us here are Pagans; you might want to check out what Christian websites have to say about this question.
