A Good Place to Start Studying Celtic Paganism

I am very new to paganism. I do not know where to start, there isn't anyone I could go to for knowledge on Celtic Paganism so I thought to ask here.

Where should I start? What books do you guys recommend? What documentaries, videos, absolutely anything to get me started.

I chose celtic paganism in particular due to I feel it calls to me more and also due to my family being Celtic Pagans and Gypsies about 4 or 5 generations before mine, (we come from Ireland).

Welcome!!!  Three books I've read, as someone who also started on a Celtic path, and enjoyed are:

"Celtic Wisdom" by Carl McColman (an eazy-breazy intro, but with lots of great ideas and resources for further study)

"The Ancient Celts" by Barry Cunliffe (scholarly, but w/ great photos, drawings and maps)

"Early Irish Myths and Sagas" by Penguin Classics (Intro by Jeffrey Gantz)

Another very useful well set out resource book is:

Celtic Myth and Religion by Sharon Paice MacLeod.

My personal favorite on my journey so far. It's an easy read but very accurate, at least as accurate as one can be about such an ancient religion.

I'm also trying to learn about the Celtic side, and this book sounded really interesting. I had to do a special order, it'll take 3 weeks before I get it! Is it hard to get everywhere or just Europe? :confused:

It took a couple of weeks for me in Oz, through Amazon. Worth the wait though ;)

Have you looked into Druidic Practice before?
