Been gone long enough

I've been gone so long this time, I figured I'd toss out a new intro post.

I'm Karen, also known as Dragonfaerie. I've been a member of the board since the old Delphiforums days, but I tend to take long walk-abouts on things. I've been nostalgic for my old message board days. Facebook doesn't even come close to replicating those times.

Religiously, I'm an initiated Priestess and elder of an eclectic Wiccan tradition based in Maryland. I'm also studing ADF Druidry and primarily work with Irish Gods, although a few other folks creep in here and there (looking at you, Loki!). I've been Wiccan since 1996.

Mundanely, I'm married with two cats and live outside of Baltimore. I'm heavily involved in the local scifi fandom and run a local Star Trek club that is a chapter of an international organization. Hubs and I joined the SCA a few years ago and are trying to find time to get into that. I also like to read a lot (mostly steampunk, Star Trek, cozy mysteries, and Regency romances) and am into yarn crafts. Mostly crochet and embroidery.
