My single card daily draw became two
« on: October 21, 2016, 11:03:46 am »
I am really new to tarot. I've had my deck for only a couple of weeks. I do a single card daily draw to help me learn. After I've done my draw, I always shuffle my deck to help clear it and indicate the session is done. Today while shuffling after I'd drawn my card, I had a jumper. I'm wondering if I should include this as part of my daily draw or add a separate reading.

Deck used:  Crystal Visions Tarot by Jennifer Galasso
Daily draw card: Eight of Swords
Jumper: Ten of Swords

Personally, I would count it as we are looking to the cards for guidance and it's put a card directly in your path.  I would take that as a clear sign that I was being spoken to.

I've found cards just poking out of books etc and I always count them as a message, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's the way you should read it.

Do you feel like it ms a card that applies?  Any of those wow that's uncanny feelings?

There was a feeling of surprise and definitely one of don't put this card back without looking at it.

Awesome!  That's very exciting.  It sounds like you already knew the answer.

Off topic: we are both Deep South pagans. Shout out to that!

I definitely knew I should pay attention, but wasn't sure if I should read the 2 cards together or separately. I haven't moved past the single card daily draws.

I really love the South. I've lived elsewhere and always come back home.

I would read them together for the ease.

I love the south too, wish it were a bit crisper in fall
