The use of magic, worship and other such deeds, in a truck.
« on: September 30, 2016, 11:44:18 pm »
Greetings, my name is Benjimask

I have recently started on my path to becoming a trucker.

So here is what I wonder, as a new trucker and this being my first post on this site. Is there any other truckers out there, or anyone else that wishes to bring about ideas of how to practice magic on the road as such?

I have a good idea of what I am going to do, same as I would do every day, (try to take over the world!) I would thank the gods that I learn under and such, ans give them the offerings that I tend to give. I see no reason to really change my way of doing things. So I would think that the idea of this post is to bring light to new ideas, as well share experiences, as well connect maybe other fellow pagan truckers?

I have a very different profession, but Hermes/Mercurius and Raphael are associated with travelling.

I'm not a trucker, but anybody who travels for a living or even on trips could probably use similar techniques. I know that portable altars/shrines are quite common for Pagans, polytheists, witches, and so on. I just recently saw a very tiny altar in the form of a locket; the blogger had four colored sequins for the elements and a star in the center in the area you would normally put a photo. A more common version is in a Altoid tin, and you could make it as ornate as you wished. Prayer beads are another option, either for devotion or magical work.

You always carry your mind with you. As for magic, I would suggest Nick Farrell's book Magical Imagination: The Keys to Magic. The exercises can be done during breaks.
