I think her influence has directly lead to Paganism (and Wicca) being seen as nothing more than a "teenage phase", and Wicca being seen as synonymous with all of Paganism. As a Heathen who's been confused for a "Norse Wiccan" more than a few times, that's my big beef with SRW.

While looking through related threads in the archive forum, I found the URL for a long-lost (Geocities) SRW critique, and was able to find it on the Wayback Machine - so I'm reviving this thread to add it.

(And I think while I'm at it I'll make the thread title more topically-obvious, and move it into 'Books and Resources'.)
