When you're editing a post because you realized its content was redundant (as in this case, asking a question that had already been answered), you still need to leave the quote - or at minimum, the quote code that provides the linkback to the post you were replying to - intact. In general, it's better practice to not delete any of your post in a case like that, but edit it (or make a new post) to add, 'Oops, I replied too soon; I see you already answered that.'

I could guess the hand's meaning on my own, but I seek second opinions on the diamond/triangles shape because this one really stumps me. I would be deeply grateful for any and all replies made.

Thanks for everyone's help with the dream symbol. I'm now gathering all the information together to have a think over and draw some conclusions.

The second part of the symbol sounds like the Rune Thurisaz with a mirror of itself, but that is just my interpretation.
