I find my Belief-O-Matic results to be much more accurate; if not perfect.

Mine too! It told me I'm 100% Universalist Unitarian, which is no doubt a relief to the other people at my UU church. Overall, it's quite effective:

100% Universalist Unitarian
98%   Mahayana Buddhism
86%   Liberal Quakerism
80%   Neo-Paganism

I didn't get them all copied before I accidentally closed the window, but I did have something around 60% Liberal Christian and 60% Reform Judaism. That I could be 62% Christian according to liberal Protestantism or 60% Jewish according to Reform rabbis no doubt proves something about your choice to go conservative, Castus. XD

My top two were:

... I was not aware that degree of overlap was possible.

I went to Beliefnet to take the belief-o-matic quiz (again, to see if something changed since last time), and of course I got 100% Neopagan as a result. Then I went to SelectSmart to take the "Which Neopagan path should you follow?" quiz. I predicted I was going to get "Eclectic pagan" as a result, and as I pushed the "View your results" button, I said out loud: "surprise me!".

I got surprised. I got 100% Religious Taoism as a result. So I'm going to research that in a while, but first, I'll leave the quiz around here in case someone else wants to have some fun with it.

Which Neo-Pagan Path should you follow?

I honestly can't remember the last time I did this quiz, but it's probably been several years. I think I got Egyptian pagan back then as my first result as well, but there you go. I still don't understand how my answers were in any way Egyptian specific, but okay? Sure?

My top 5:
Egyptian Pagan (100%)
Religious Taoism (90%)
Numinism (77%)
Christo-Pagan (69%)
Dianic Wicca (64%)

Bit surprised by Christo-Pagan and Dianic Wicca, but ehh. Though I did look into numinism once. I decided it wasn't worth the bother.

The quiz thinks I should be a Numinist. I am urging it to reconsider. :p

It's always interesting to see the results of these kinds of things, though!

My top 5 are:

Religious Taoism
Numinism
Egyptian pagan
Greek pagan
Celtic pagan.

That's curious because I would consider myself a Celtic pagan. I'm not sure what answers led it to the first two

Which Neo-Pagan Path should you follow?

First, I don't think the link to the Belief Net survey was posted so here it is:
http://www.beliefnet.com/Entertainment/Quizzes/BeliefOMatic.aspx

I found the results of the Belief quiz to be fascinating:
100% Unitarian Universalist (ok, this was not a surprise, as I identify as a pagan follower of Jesus, and am opening myself to the presence of other Gods in my life), but then in order I also got...

92% Sikhism
85% Taoism
80% Liberal Quaker
80% Mayhayana Buddhism
78% Hinduism
77% Neo-Pagan
73% New Age
71% Theravada Buddhism
60% Jainism

Out of these 'top ten' results there are 6 religions I know nothing about - but of course which makes me curious as to what each is about?  I'm surprise that Neo-Pagan did not rank much higher!

The other survey was also interesting in its results:
#1 Numinism 100% (I believe this to be the survey creator's 'default' setting? :D: )
#2 Druidism 97%
#3 Christo-Pagan 93%
#4 Judeo-Pagan 85%
#5 Egyptian-Pagan 74%
#6 Greek-Pagan 64%
#7 Religious Taoism 62%
#8 Eclectic Pagan 53%
#9 Roman-Pagan 51%
#10 Hinduism (50%)
-------------------------
#18 Celtic Pagan (25%)
#19 Asatru (20%)

For the past two years, my primary reading and 'identification' has been with all things Celtic and Heathen - granted I've not yet felt a calling from any gods from either pantheon(s) as of yet.  But now I am wondering if I'm trying to base my hearth culture strictly on either on my Irish/English/German ancestral background is possibly wrong-headed?

What do others feel about the either surveys and the results they got???
peace,
Brian (njsquarebear)

I got this:

1. Greek Pagan 100%
2. Roman Pagan 100%
3. Numinism 86%
4. Asatru 72%
5. Baltic Pagan 72%
6. Druidism 72%
7. Egyptain Pagan 72%
8. Slavic Pagan 72%

I am surprised that Druidry only came in 6th place.
