A happy and blessed Brigidfeast (Imbolc, Oimelc, Candlemas, Groundhog Day, etc) to all of you... except Emerald, to whom I wish a happy and blessed Lammas/Lughnasadh!

Thank you - and same to you! :)

Btw: Here in Germany it is also called Lichtmess.

And Chandeleur in France, where I was yesterday - because of  Chandeleur! :)

And to you! I celebrated my official "beginning my pagan path" self-dedication today, and it snowed a lot, and I burned candles and it's been lovely and quiet.

Blessed be, everyone!

Congratulations on your dedication!

Aw thank you! It was quiet but special, and I bought myself a ring in honor of the occasion.

It's beautiful!

I also use jewelry to commemorate important spiritual events (among other things). There's something very special about wearing a meaningful piece of jewelry that reminds you of your deity and/or your experience every time you see it.

I've been dedicated to Brighid for 10 (?) years now, and a follower for some years longer, so I've collected several pieces of Brighid-related jewelry. I cherish all of them. Even the ones that are no longer relevant. (I need to figure out how to deactivate those.)

Thank you! I was intending to get a pendant, but the ring caught my eye in a semi-local witchy shop, and I had to have it. It seemed right. So now I have my first piece of dedicated pagan jewelry! It's more a general reminded of my path as a whole. I'm sure as I head down the path, there will be a Brigid dedication specifically at some point. She's been prodding me none-too-subtly for maybe a year. It's about time I listened. :)
