I read through a consciousness text book with a serious warning to this effect. One of the best books I've ever read.

Probably going to have to say anything on Hermetics. It seems so alien, and distant I can't comprehend it without hurting my brain, or assuming too much.

I still stay away from Satanism, but I have a better idea what they are about now. I feel the same way about fear based theology and demons. Even in psychological terms I prefer to call my struggles my "shadows" instead of my "demons."

I very much like Hermeticism, tho. I relate to it surprisingly well; as it reminds me a little of Gnostic mysticism.
