The Cauldron: A Pagan Forum

So I was just pondering through my thoughts and then a light bulb went off in my head on the goddess I feel most connected to Hecate. Since I first starting getting into paganism the goddess I worshipped and considered patron was Hecate. It all started when I was reading a book on Greek mythology and one of the passages mentioned Hecate. And after reading it, it left me wanting to know more because of the lack of detail the book had on her. My relationship with Hecate has been off and on since I think in my own consciousness I felt that finding Hecate was to easy so I started studying other goddess and other pantheons. But right now I just realized something. Everything Hecate is, is what my interest are from. She is a goddess of earth,sea, and celestial sky. I value and adore the earth, I love the ocean, and I am obsessed with the night sky which I think is associated with her since she guides with her torches through darkness like the stars lead through the night sky. She is a goddess of transitions which I think she was there for me to help me get through losing my mom at 8 and moving to a whole new town and school.also I wonder if she helped me live when I was born a preme since I was born earlier than expected. I know Hecate has many more power of things. It's just these came to mind.
