The Cauldron: A Pagan Forum

Materials:
- Spiritual Candle / Focus Candle
- Pentacle
- Crystals
- Incense
- Clear Vessel for Water Storage
- Salt
- Blue / White Tealights
- Pendulum
- Paper
- Pencil
- Lighter
- Fire Proof Container
- Fresh Mint Leaves

Preparations:
- Cleansing & Meditative Bath
- Clean all items to be used in ritual
- Pour water into the vessel
- Secure a location outside and set up everything before nightfall

Ritual:
Relax your body, release negativity from your mind, inhale the fresh air into your lungs and focus on the comfort of a brilliant moon above your head.

Light the Spiritual / Focus Candle.
"I open my essence to the magickal embrace"

Light the tealights in a clockwise direction, ending with the middle tealight.
"The Womb, The Maiden, The Mother and the Crone. United they form a Full Moon."

Light the incense.
"Keep this sacred space here pure."

Look up the moon.
"I welcome the beauty of the Moon's light. I honor the phases of Womanhood. I'm a Maiden of the Moon."

Place several leaves of mint into the water filled vessel.
"Peppermint grown by my hand, the herb of: Purification, Sleep, Love, Healing, Psychic Powers. May it bless this water."

Sprinkle some salt into the water.
"Salt, the pure element of Earth. May it protect this mixture from negativity."

Close the vessel with a lid and seal it locked with melted wax.
"I ask that this water be infused with the purification, restful sleep, energies of love and healing. May it be blessed. Brightened by the moonlight. I will use this water for baths, spells, watering my plants and cleansing tools."

Write down all my burdens onto the paper.
"These are weights to my wings. Things I wish to depart from."

Burn the paper into the fire proof container.
"I release them from my mind. I keep them from my heart. I cleanse them from my body."

Bury the ashes.
"Return to the Earth from which you came."

Look up to the Moon again.
"Thank you for this night."

Snuff the candles, place the sealed vessel somewhere safe and leave behind the other items to charge in moonlight.
