It's that time of year again!

Last year, for Opet, Kemetics here at The Cauldron started a community project to "emboaten the boatless" through Kiva.org. A team was created, The Emboatening Crew, and we began team-funding micro-loans for people needing assistance with boat-related projects. As the team grew, and non-Kemetics joined our crew, we expanded the terms to cover "embovineing" (or "emcowing", if you prefer), and other projects as well. As a team, The Emboatening Crew, to date, has funded 88 loans to the tune of nearly $2300.00.

As part of my celebration of Opet 2014 (September 22 - October 15, for me), I will not only be loaning through Kiva again, but encouraging the other members of our team to do so. I'd also like to invite anyone who hasn't joined The Crew to do so.
