Family Friend (content warning: brief/explicit mention of an extremely violent act)

Uh, if any of you are triggered by violence, then it's probably not a good idea to read farther.

So, a family friend who lives in the Middle East just got beheaded by the terrorist group ISIS.

We're all in shock and prayers for both us and their loved ones (and of course, them) would be very much appreciated...
