Hello!
« on: August 18, 2014, 01:42:14 pm »
I'm a solitary non-wiccan witch (I usually describe myself as a "traditional witch") who consumes a lot of books on magic, folklore, anthropology, mysticism, alchemy, and Jungian psychology.

I'm a hard polytheist but lately I've been growing increasingly areligious in my practices. Mostly, I just work with my ancestors. I call on gods for the big stuff but rarely do anything akin to worship.

I'm here because I'm trying to get out of my own head and talk to other people. I've been waiting for a long time to meet other people who are on the same path as me and have realized:

1) Waiting isn't going to do me any good.
2) I can't learn if someone shares my path if I never talk to them.
and 3) I can also learn from people who follow different paths.

And thusly, I have joined this forum and am planning to go to some events in my area. Hopefully I'll feel comfortable peeking my head out of my shell for a little while.

Hi there, Earthworm! Welcome to TC!
Maker, though the darkness comes upon me,
I shall embrace the light. I shall weather the storm.
I shall endure.
What you have created, no one can tear asunder.
