are there any Apollo worshippers here? How do you relate to the god? What are your experiences?

I worship Him, but I'm not especially close to Him (so far). For a deep insight on Apollo, I recommend this page from Neos Alexandria and a search of appropriate posts on this blog by a modern priestess of His.

I am a Roman recon, with Hellenic leanings, so yes I do. I invoke him every time I cleanse myself before a ritual, and my own perspectives on rationalism and science gel pretty well with an Apollonian worldview, though I do venerate Dionysos quite highly.

I had an experience in an empty church once which turned out to be Bacchus/Dionysus. Explain that one, because I can't, and I didn't even invoke him.
